Fall Festivities

As Labor Day weekend ushers out the days of summer, we focus back on routines, to-do’s and a sense in the air of Fall weather. Fall brings celebrations in Madison Park too- with holidays and festive events in the neighborhood. Mark your calendars for the Art Walk, Party for the Park, Little Beats Concerts, Halloween Trick or Treating and Dog Parade. And remember our Neighborhood Meeting October 13th and the Farmer’s Market continues through October 17th!

More than 60 local artists will showcase their work across a wide range of mediums. All artwork will be available for purchase, along with live music, food and drinks. All FREE. New this year is Artist’s Alley, showcasing smaller art pieces on 42nd E (Farmer’s Market block) and McGilvra Students art display, as well as 100 for $100 at Madison Kitchen and Parkshore Residents art gallery in their lobby.

LITTLE BEATS CONCERT SERIES RETURNS AT A NEW VENUE

When: October 3, November 7, January 2, February 6 at 11-12 pm

Where: McGilvra Elementary School Cafeteria at 1617 East 38th Street (enter at the north gates on East Blaine)

Cost: $5 per person at the door, or a Season Pass is $18 per person. Tickets on Sale Soon. October 3: Brian and the Good Buddies; November 7: Highlight Quartet; January 2: TBD; February 6: Harmonica Pocket

Our Neighborhood Meeting on Tuesday October 13th at 7 p.m. at the Bathhouse will focus on the Bathhouse Renovation and Shoreline Restoration Project. An Interactive meeting with the architect team as we move into the next phase of design. Don’t miss this opportunity to work together to build our neighborhood gathering center.

Halloween Trick or Treat in Madison Park Business District on Saturday October 31 from 4-6 pm. Costumes Dog Parade too! Details to come shortly!
