2025: The market will run from 10AM - 2PM on Saturdays in the summer (June 14 through September 27, 2025). That block would be closed from 8AM - 4PM on market days.

2026: To be determined.

The Market will have 20-25 vendors of organic produce and food artisans from Washington State, most from within 50 miles of Seattle, who would receive 91% of sales profits. The Market does not displace the Friday Madrona Farmer’s Market.

On August 9th, 2025 market staff conducted a Rapid Market Assessment dot survey. During the four hours of operation an estimated 2,076 people visited the market. 60% of those surveyed reported walking to the market. 91.5% of attendees reported planning on spending money at the surrounding businesses in addition to the market.

Market vendors vehicles will be parked in several off-street parking spots of several businesses that are closed on Saturdays. Neighborhood parking may be additionally impacted by summer beach goers. The market is providing 4 designated parking spots for businesses in that city block, as requested. 

The Seattle Farmers Market Association (SFMA), operating since 2000, runs the Madrona, Wallingford, and Ballard Farmers Market. The Madrona Farmers Market will continue running in its current location at Grocery Outlet on Fridays.

SFMA is insured by Campbell Insurance Company for $2 million per incident plus a rider; each vendor is required to be insured with a $1 million policy plus a rider.
