WHY DO WE PARTY?
Friends of Madison Park is about bringing neighbors together and caring for the community we all love. Throughout the year, our all-volunteer organization creates free events, supports neighborhood beautification projects, and advocates for the preservation and thoughtful improvement of Madison Park’s parks, public spaces and unique character.
OUR COMMUNITY SHOWS UP
More than 500 children and families joined us for the Easter Egg Hunt, hunting for over 1,000 eggs, making crafts, dancing and meeting the Easter Bunny.
Every Thursday in August, an average of 200 friends and families gathered for Music in the Park
More than 300 guests explored beautiful neighborhood gardens during the Madison Park Garden Tour
Holiday festivities brought neighbors together for the tree lighting, caroling, wreath-making, Santa, cookies and warm cider.
More than 300 neighbors filled Madison Street for the Children’s Parade & Picnic
KEEPING OUR NEIGHBORHOOD BEAUTIFUL
Beyond these events, Friends of Madison Park works year-round to keep our neighborhood beautiful, vibrant and connected — from planters, tree lighting and park cleanups to advocating for the places and public spaces that make Madison Park special. We’re also moving forward with our most ambitious undertaking yet: the
Madison Park Bathhouse Renovation & Shoreline Restoration, an investment in our waterfront and community for generations to come.
LET’S PARTY FOR THE PARK
This is our biggest—really our only—fundraiser of the year and its impact lasts all year long. The generosity of our guests, sponsors and donors provides the critical funding that allows Friends of Madison Park to continue bringing our community together, caring for and improving our shared spaces, advocating for our neighborhood, and moving ambitious projects forward. When you attend, bid, sponsor or donate, you’re helping sustain the traditions our community loves while investing in new opportunities to make Madison Park an even more vibrant, connected and beautiful place for generations to come.
