Dazzling Art
Friends of Madison Park’s Art Walk on Friday September 18th was a delightful combination of perfect weather, 60+ artists from students to seasoned artists, music that filled the air from jazz to favorite tunes (and dancing), wine, appetizers and sooooo many smiling faces. A tradition to be continued in 2027. Thanks so much to all our artists plus domicile gallery, Anne Woodford, Nene Larson, Mechanics Bank and music by Rock Paper Sugar and Carrie Jennings. MADISON PARK BATHHOUSE AND BEACH RENOVATION PROJECT
Our next Neighborhood meeting on Tuesday October 13th at 7 p.m. at the Bathhouse will focus on the renovation of the Bathhouse and restoration of the Beach Project. It has been almost a year since we last met- in the meantime FoMP has been working with Seattle Parks and Recreation, the Madison Park Co-op Preschool and the architectural team to design this project. Come with your thoughts and participate in this interactive meeting with the architectural team.

Throughout the year, Friends of Madison Park, our all-volunteer organization, creates free events, supports neighborhood beautification projects, and advocates for the preservation and thoughtful improvement of Madison Park’s parks, public spaces and unique character. This is our biggest—really our only—fundraiser of the year and its impact lasts all year long. If you or your family have enjoyed even one of our many events, please come to support us.
PROSPECT PRESERVE FALL CLEAN-UP SATURDAY OCTOBER 17/ 9-12.
WE PROVIDE THE TOOLS AND YOU PROVIDE THE HELP WEEDING, PRUNING AND SPREADING MULCH. Our Street end park located at 41st E and E Prospect, north of the Seattle Tennis Club.
