MUSIC IN THE PARK STARTS THIS THURSDAY!
Join us in the park this coming Thursday August 7th- 6:30 with Eden, featuring Savannah Woods, with music by the Music Factory underway at 6, . Bring your blanket, your picnic and lots of friends. Savannah Woods was a contestant on The Voice! Rain or shine (think shine, please). And all FREE!

RUTH DALTON REMEMBRANCE
Join in remembering Ruth Dalton and her little Prince. Friends and family are asking the community she loved so dearly to come together to honor her legacy of love and kindness.
On Wednesday August 20th at 5:30, meet on 43rd Avenue East, just south of Madison Street where the city will have installed a plaque in memory of Ruth and Prince near a bench overlooking the Madison Park Beach, she so frequented. MORE DETAILS ON THE LINK BELOW.
FARMER’S MARKET BRINGS NEIGHBORS AND FRESH FOOD TOGETHER.
If you haven’t had a chance yet, walk down to the weekly Farmer’s Market on Saturday mornings on 42nd Ave E- east of the tennis courts. The vendors continue to grow in numbers with a few more expected in the coming weeks. Tomatoes are ripening and more summer produce and fruit are reaching their peak!

Saturday, August 16th the Emergency HUB will be holding an abbreviated version of their drill in the park, which will dovetail with the last part of the Farmers Market. Brochures will be at the FoMP table at the Market.
NEIGHBORHOOD MEETINGS FOR THE FALL ARE SCHEDULED!
We took a pause with meetings for the summer but now have scheduled the Fall meetings at the Bathhouse. We have pushed upcoming meetings (through 2026) to the second Tuesday of the month but needed to schedule our September a bit later:
Tuesday, September 30th at 7 pm- City Council member Joy Hollingsworth will speak on the One Seattle Plan and its impact on Madison Park and answer your questions. (updates on the One Seattle Plan to be posted shortly on our website HERE.)
Tuesday, October 14th at 7 pm- Bathhouse Renovation and Beach Restoration Project follow up meeting. An interactive second meeting with the architectural team of Signal Architects and Anchor QEA Landscape Architects to share results and ideas formed from our first meeting in May. Come for an update on our progress and exciting vision for an updated gathering place and surroundings for Madison Park. (view more details about the planned renovation on our website HERE.)
