SUMMERTIME
We’ve made it through the Fourth of July and settling into summer routines of kids out of school, beach time, warm days and outdoor dining. Madison Park has a special rhythm to the summer- the new Farmer’s Market on Saturdays, Music in the Park coming each Thursday in August, Madison Books book club, shops bustling…and
THIS COMING WEEKEND SATURDAY, JULY 12TH

Bastille Day Celebration at Domicile Gallery at 3.
Plan on assembling at the Starbuck’s at 11:45 to decorate your bikes, trikes, etc. and follow the Fire Truck on the parade route to the Park. From sno-cones to hotdogs and Bamboo Thai fare, from live music and dancing to sack races to face painting and crafts- the Picnic and Parade is a highlight for our neighborhood and families.
A HUGE Thank you to our Sponsors this year. Want to be part of the fun day? It’s not too late to volunteer to help at volunteer@friendsofmadisonpark.com.
FARMER’S MARKET HIT ITS STRIDE.
With more seasonal produce ready for harvesting and a variety of vendors getting established with the market, the response from our neighborhood has been wonderful and a routine of finding your favorites and looking for new fresh goods each week continues to flourish.
So many are walking to the market (thank you), connecting with their neighbors and finding what they need for delicious meals. Word back from many shops is that business is robust on market days and we see so many happy neighbors stopping by the FoMP table. Stop by and buy one of our tote bags, while supporting Friends of Madison Park and the market.
MUSIC IN THE PARK COMING EVERY THURSDAY IN AUGUST. 6:30-8
TICKETS GO ON SALE FOR PARTY FOR THE PARK ON JULY 20TH. MARK YOUR CALENDAR!
Madison Park has an active small volunteer Emergency HUB team and is always looking for more participation and resources. Want to learn more? Click the Hub Drill on Seattle Channel HERE.
