Museum Quality Framing

It’s not hard to “shop local” when you live in Madison Park. Our thriving business district with its plethora of shops and services makes it easy to find – or create – home décor items and those perfect holiday gifts without fighting traffic or resorting to online shopping.  Doubling as a service and a gift shop, Museum Quality Framing is the go-to destination for custom framing – as well as for photo and fine art printing. “We can print on a variety of substrates, including paper, metal, and canvas,” explains manager Brandon Hoo. “We can also help with sourcing art through our curated selection of local images in our PNW Gallery.”

Of course, the art itself doesn’t need to be of museum quality to warrant a museum-quality frame. The shop has framed everything from children’s artwork to wedding dresses and sports jerseys. Brandon notes that Museum Quality Framing has even assisted clients such as Climate Pledge Arena and the Seattle Sounders with services ranging from art sourcing to installation – and has framed jerseys, artifacts, and other memorabilia for their facilities.

Brandon and his team of three love finding creative solutions for Madison Parkers’ prized possessions. “Some of the most unusual things we’ve framed are items from our customers’ travels,” he says. “It’s a welcome challenge to figure out how to frame things like ornate necklaces, a handcrafted vase, or pressed flowers from foreign countries. It’s always fascinating learning the stories behind these pieces. Everyone brings in such a variety of art that there’s never a dull day.”

After a decade with the company and five years as manager of the Madison Park shop, it’s clear that Brandon loves his chosen career. “I was fresh out of college with my art degree looking for something in the art field. I discovered custom framing and have been with it ever since. It’s an honor to help our clients share their stories by framing their photos, artwork, and objects.”
