THANK YOU, MADISON PARK!

October ends on such a high note- Party for the Park sparkled with a successful auction, games, a peek at the proposed Bathhouse vision, and brought together so many to support and celebrate Madison Park.

Thanks to our incredible community, we raised over $117,000 on October 24, 2026!
Funds raised will be used for our free community events, neighborhood beautification efforts, and continuing into the second phase of the The Bathhouse Renovation and Shoreline Restoration.

Thank you to Jessica Avery for these lovely photos—see these and more here!

Halloween in Madison Park brought less rain this year and more trick or treaters- packed with adorable children and costumed dogs. Thanks to all the local businesses for filling bags with candy and bringing so many smiles to so many. And to all the FoMP volunteers who helped organize.

November has arrived and after a warm summer, we are changing into wool and prepping for traditional gatherings and the coming of winter.

This month is packed with events- Fall Clean-Up, Neighborhood Meeting, Little Beats Concerts, McGilvra’s Fall Ball and school tours, special events at several local venues and the beginning of our Toy Drive with Wellspring Family Services. And December’s Holiday Festivities are not far behind.

2026-2027 McGilvra Tour & Open House Dates

The best way to learn about our neighborhood school is to come for a visit! Each tour begins with an information session led by McGilvra’s principal, Jolene Anderson. Next a parent guide, often joined by a 5th grader, will show you the school building. You’ll have a chance to see our teachers in action, meet some students, and ask questions. We recommend allowing about 90 minutes for the visit.

UPCOMING TOURS:
Friday, November 6 @ 9 a.m.

Tuesday, November 17 @ 6:00 p.m.
(Evening Open House / Information Session)

Wednesday, December 9 @ 8:30 a.m.

Thursday, January 14 @ 9:00 a.m.

Evening Open House: We will offer one evening information session and open house. The program will include a presentation by our principal and a few teachers, and an opportunity to see a few classrooms.

Please note that the tours and open house are intended for adults, not children. However, if you have an infant or young child who you need to bring along, that is absolutely fine.
