SPRUCING UP FOR SPRING

You may have noticed that Seattle Parks Department (thank you, Dewright Brooks and team) and our own Friends of the Park (thank you, Kevin Larkin) have been working to spruce up our parks, weeding, planting bulbs and cutting down the large blackberry scrum that had blocked views of the lake and Mt. Rainier for many years on the north end of the beach. Swing by to enjoy the view near the dock. Fingers crossed for picnic tables to be coming soon. More plans are in the works for the coming months.

Please jump in to help with one of these upcoming work parties- in the park, at Prospect Preserve, and in the business area. Sign up HERE or just show up. Bring your favorite garden tools or we will provide.
