Community

2026 is underway and with the world swirling around us, Madison Park offers a microcosm of what community can be- providing connections, gatherings and the chance to make a difference here at home.

We have a full calendar of events (see below)- some encores and some brand new ideas. These don’t/can’t happen without the help of neighbors. Friends of Madison Park is simply that- friends who are volunteering their time for events that bring joy to neighbors young and old, pitching in for clean-ups, or maybe 2-3 hours at an event , joining a committee to keep our neighborhood informed, safe, and thinking boldly about Madison Park’s future.

Our Volunteer page lists a number of opportunities to get involved in 2026. Some new ideas that need folks to pitch in: an added St. Patrick’s Day dance/music celebration, A Neighborhood Yard Sale in the Spring, an Author’s Series, regular work parties in the parks and working with the city to manage the beach closures during the summers and improve our sidewalks and crosswalks. More volunteers are needed to help with planning the Children’s Parade and Picnic, the Easter Egg Hunt, the Party for the Park.

(Some dates may vary slightly so keep up by following our Bulletin Board, social media, our Newsletter, our Banners, Stroll Magazine and the Madison Park Times.)
